Bluetooth-enabled Sex Toy Allows Long-distance Lovers to “Connect”

At last, technology has finally progressed enough to allow long distance sex to feel a little more like the real thing.

LovePalz, a pair of interactive sex toys that wirelessly connect via bluetooth, has revolutionized the way long distance couples interact by allowing them to digitally connect their…private parts.

Although LovePalz has not been manufactured yet, the company is accepting preorders on their website.  You can buy one Zeus or one Hera sex toy for $49.95, or buy them as a set for $94.95.  The site even gives you the option of buying a set of two Zeus toys or two Hera toys for $94.95 respectively.  So far, 2,926 units have been ordered and preorders will continue to be accepted until November 18th.

You can even engrave your toy with a customized name and serial number.

For those who would rather spend the money on a virtual sex toy than a plane ticket to visit your lover, Zeus and Hera come in a limited edition “24K Golden” version for the bargain price of $10,000.  According to the website, 4 pairs have already been preordered, with 6 more available.

The LovePalz website even includes some interesting graphics to give potential buyers an idea of places and times you can use their product.

I understand this scenario.  Girl in her bedroom, guy in his bedroom.  Everyone’s happy and doing their thing in the privacy of their own homes.

But take a look at this one:

Woman in her office, man in his car.  Let’s just hope some kids don’t come by and see this guy having a good ole romp in cyberspace with the missus.

 Come on, is someone really going to play with themselves on a balcony while their partner is playing with himself in a park?  I feel like getting caught in the act in a public place with a real-life partner is more permissible than getting caught doing it with your lover on the phone.  If one of you gets caught, is the other one on the phone going to have to explain themselves to the police, too?

It makes you wonder if the makers of LovePalz are suggesting you spice up your long distance relationship even more by taking your virtual intercourse to naughty places.  “Where is the weirdest place you’ve ever made whoopee?” is a favorite question of the Newlywed Game, but in this modern age, are they going to have to change the question to, “Where is the weirdest place you’ve ever had virtual sex with the help of a bluetooth enabled sex toy?”

Aside from the questionable places of use, LovePalz is a revolutionary product that will (in theory) allow lovers to connect even if they are hundreds of miles apart, in a way they were never able to before.  However, as great as long distance intercourse with your significant other sounds, there could be a few drawbacks to this product.

First, if there is a delay in the connection, a hot and steamy rendezvous could turn into an awkward encounter.  Thanks to lag, your cyber sex could end up like this:

“Oh yeah, you like how that feels, baby?”

“Uh, no….OH YES I DO!”

There is another potential problem when using LovePalz.  Based on current information that’s available for this product, there’s no word on whether or not Zeus has a pressure limit in response to Hera’s movement.  Fellas, make sure you don’t piss off your lady friend while using this device. If your girl gets angry and uses her hands to form a death grip on her toy, you’re in for a world of hurt.

Also, are you guys going to have a complex because Hera is longer than Zeus?
