Cosmopolitan
Does texting make us more honest? Or are there some things easier said by text? As researchers at the University of Michigan say we’re more open to disclosing sensitive information via text, Cosmo reveals the five things that should never be conveyed through the medium of a text message. Ever.
1. “I don’t think this is working.”
Admit it, you’d be up in arms if a guy sent it to you, so same goes. Breaking up over text just ain’t cool, whoever you are. As easy as it is to send that text, it’ll be much better coming from you in person. So suck it up...
2. “Don’t tell anyone, but...”
As a general rule, if your text starts with this then DON’T hit that send button. Secrets should be told face-to-face where the person can’t press a forward button. Word.

Our entire relationship consists of text messages. Is this normal?

Dear Rosie & Sherry,
I live in New York and have been tele-dating a guy from the Midwest. We met once for three days. He's very much into texts and does not call that often. He told me he would be ready to discuss “moving forward” for my birthday this past July, but now he says he’s not ready to talk.

Why DO men send unsolicited pics of their penis?
Another poster asked this question in their thread; and I am curious...WHY DO men send those pics? and What do they get out of it? To be quite truthful with you, I have absolutely NO IDEA what men get from doing this.
Guys: have you ever sent a woman, or do you KNOW SOMEONE who has sent a woman, unsolicited pics of your/their penis? WHY did you/they do it? Are they trying to attract the woman? Are they trying to turn her on? Are they just hoping she will send similar pics of herself? What do they feel when the woman reacts negatively? Do they think it's funny?
