Scientists Find Earliest Known Penis

Possibly the world's oldest penis — over 100 million years old — was found on a recently discovered fossil of an ostracod, an early crustacean, related to crabs, shrimps, and water fleas, according to NewScientist.com and Reuters.

"To my knowledge, it is the oldest penis. I don't know of any older," said Professor David Siveter, of the University of Leicester in England.

Siveter was presenting his research on the fossil, found in Brazil, to the British Association Festival of Science.

Boob Basics
The quintessential embodiment of female sexuality, breasts have fascinated and mystified since the beginning of time. The First Bra
Women have strapped down their breasts with fabric bands or boosted their cleavage with body-shaping corsets for centuries, depending on current fashions. But the precursors to modern bras began to appear in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The magazine “Vogue” first used the term brassiere in 1907. In 1914, American Mary Phelps-Jacobs patented the first bra design, which consisted of two handkerchiefs sewn together with baby ribbon used as straps.
The first push-up bra came on the scene in 1948, introduced by Frederick Mellinger of Frederick's of Hollywood fame. According to Redbook magazine, the average woman today owns nine bras.

Thailand to sell generic Viagra drug

AFP News

Thailand has approved an affordable generic version of the anti-impotence drug Viagra to go on sale next week, as the country looks to combat rampant counterfeit production, officials said Wednesday.

The Thai diamond-shaped little blue pill, which resembles the original produced by US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, is called "Sidegra" and will be available on prescription across the country on October 1.

Priced at 25 baht (80 US cents) per pill, Thailand's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it will be ten times cheaper than full-price Viagra.

Why DO men send unsolicited pics of their penis?

Another poster asked this question in their thread; and I am curious...WHY DO men send those pics? and What do they get out of it? To be quite truthful with you, I have absolutely NO IDEA what men get from doing this.

Guys: have you ever sent a woman, or do you KNOW SOMEONE who has sent a woman, unsolicited pics of your/their penis? WHY did you/they do it? Are they trying to attract the woman? Are they trying to turn her on? Are they just hoping she will send similar pics of herself? What do they feel when the woman reacts negatively? Do they think it's funny?

Osteen Willing to Vote for Candidate of Different Faith

For televangelist Joel Osteen, faith isn’t the primary determinant when it comes to voting for a president.
Appearing Tuesday night on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, the Lakewood Church pastor said he would have no problem voting for a presidential candidate who holds a different set of beliefs than his own—and that includes Mormon Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
“That would not stop me from voting for somebody,” Osteen said. “I would look at the total candidate though—you know, what's their experience, what's their education, what do they stand for? I don't think I would vote for somebody just because they're a Mormon or anything like that.”
When Morgan asked about backing a Jewish candidate, Osteen didn’t think twice: “Sure, I could vote for a Jewish candidate—that's how our faith was started. They're God's chosen people in Scripture.” But as Morgan posed the hypothetical question of voting for a Muslim candidate, Osteen was a bit more hesitant.

Jesus Moving in Muslim World Through Dreams, Visions

As a missionary, Tom Doyle has made dozens of trips to the Middle East. But when he first heard the stories of God working in a supernatural way there, he had trouble believing them.
Then, in the words of one of his friends, "God showed me that my theology does not determine his actions," Doyle and co-author Greg Webster write in the just-released Dreams and Visions: Is Jesus Awakening the Muslim World.

Doyle fell in love with the Middle East on his first biblical tour of the Holy Land. After 20 years as a pastor in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, he felt called to full-time ministry in the Middle East in 2001 and accepted e3 Partners' offer to direct its ministry there. He has since become a vice president for e3, a church-planting ministry that works in more than 40 countries.

The book is a collection of never-before-told stories from the front lines of the campaign to bring the gospel to the world of Islam. In his 11 years working in the Middle East, Doyle has met former Muslims who were first introduced to Jesus through either a dream or a vision.

'Jerusalem Countdown' Highlights Battle Between Israel and Islam on Big Screen

We're counting down to an inevitable conflict between Israel and Islam. That's the premise of a new film that's now showing in theaters around the country. Adapted from the best-selling book by John Hagee,Jerusalem Countdown, the prophecy thriller produced by Pure Flix Entertainment, is getting attention.
The movie follows FBI agent Shane Daughtry (David A.R White), who must find smuggled nuclear weapons in the United States before they are detonated. The only people who can help him are a washed-up arms dealer (Lee Majors), retired agent (Stacy Keach) and by-the-book CIA deputy director played by country music star Randy Travis. The film also stars Christian singer Jaci Velasquez.
Jerusalem Countdown debuted on about 50 screens last weekend in a grass-roots campaign to win more screen time. That's similar strategy the producers of the hit movie Fireproof took. Pure Flix CEO and Managing Partner Russell Wolfe told Christian Retailing that the company is offering churches the opportunity to host a Jerusalem Countdown outreach event, so audiences can "witness prophecy unfolding with what is transpiring in the Middle East."
More than 1 million copies of the English version of Hagee's Jerusalem Countdown have been sold since it came to market in 2006. Charisma House has also sold nearly 40,000 copies of the Spanish version. However, Charisma House says there are no plans currently to cross-promote the book with the movie.

Pastor John Hagee Warns America About Obama Re-election

Pastor John Hagee is raising his voice in an urgent call for prayer over the presidential election.
Hagee, senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, sent an e-mail addressed to all Christians and people of faith in America.
“First, I want to express my profound appreciation to President Barak Obama for doing what all of the Republican candidates have not been able to do for months: he unified the Bible-believing church in America in one week over the issue of abortion.

Is There Such a Thing as Child-Friendly Horror Movies?

AMY SWANSON/MOVIEGUIDE
'Frankenweenie'
A scene from 'Frankenweenie,' in theaters Oct. 5 (Disney)
They’re coming. Over the next few months, parents are going to see an onslaught of horror based movies that are aimed directly at their children. Paranorman,Frankenweenie and Hotel Transylvania may look like harmless humor horror for the harvest season, but they represent more than just the Halloween creep. These movies desensitize our children to even more satanic evil and violence that they will see on the big screen later in life.
Over the past few years, Ted Baehr and the Christian Film & Television Commission have been making inroads. The transformation of Hollywood toward a more God-respecting attitude has been seen in movies like The Blind Side, The Avengers, Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides and Soul Surfer. For a brief moment we were able to see the positive trickle-down effect, but with any victory we must always expect the enemy to launch a counterattack.

Spiritually Alive

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall be made alive. —1 Corinthians 15:22

The spirit realm is a world greater and more awesome than this world could ever be. We who are spiritually alive can cross into that realm and hear the voice of God. We can live without fear, for we have eternal life by the blood of the Lamb.

The spiritually dead cannot see what we see or hear what we hear. I have seen them wandering the earth by the thousands: milling in and out of theaters and shopping malls, driving on the freeways, mowing their lawns, and dragging themselves through life. Like weary prisoners who march until they drop, the spiritually dead walk without hope, defeated prisoners of a lie. They believe the lie that they will live and die, and nothing lies beyond.

One day the trumpet will sound, but they will go on with their weary lives-.-.-.-typing, welding, baking, and driving as though nothing had happened. Those who are spiritually alive will hear the sound no one else hears and skyrocket into the presence of God (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Jesus, I long to live daily in Your spiritual realm.
Help me to live without fear and to obey
Your voice each and every day. Amen.

God’s Personal Attention to Detail

by Rick Warren

Your hands shaped me and made me. Job 10:8 (NIV)
God formed every creature on this planet with a special area of expertise. Some animals run, some hop, some swim, some burrow, and some fly. Each has a particular role to play based on the way they were shaped by God. The same is true with humans.

Before God created you, he planned exactly how he wanted you to serve him, and then he shaped you for those tasks. He carefully shaped and formed you to serve him in a way that makes your ministry unique.

God never wastes anything. He would not give you abilities, interests, talents, gifts, personality, and life experiences unless he intended to use them for his glory.

Talk about it

What abilities, talents, and gifts has God given you? How do you think God wants you to use them?

What interests do you have that can be used to serve God?

Why do you think God gave you the personality you have? What kind of service do you think he had in mind?

Rick Warren is the founding pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif., one of America's largest and most influential churches. Rick is author of the New York Times bestseller "The Purpose Driven Life." His book, "The Purpose Driven Church," was named one of the 100 Christian books that changed the 20th century. He is also the founder of Pastors.com, a global Internet community for pastors.

City of Toronto Workers Destroy Free Community Food Garden Amid Growing Food Crisis

Occupy Gardens plants in Queens Park destroyed without harvesting food

Activist Post
Amid a growing food crisis, this morning workers from the City of Toronto were ordered by City of Toronto

Parks Director Richard Ubbens demanded all live plants and food removed from the People's Peas Garden in Queens Park. They were ordered to take the plants and food to the dump and lay sod overtop of this most beautiful free community food garden, without warning, without a chance to remove the rare heirloom plant species or harvest the food.

The garden was planted by Occupy Gardens and allies on May 1st, in defense of local and global food security. While the garden has been growing undisturbed for nearly 5 months, with the help of hundreds in the community, the city deliberately decided to have it removed upon the eve of the Autumn Jam: A Harvest Party and celebration of sharing, community and free local food, which is happening tomorrow from 12-6pm at the garden in Queens Park (northwest section).

Sex Trade

Want to take the sex in your relationship to eruptive new heights? The hottest and most salacious mom in Canada, Kelly Oxford, proposes that it's time to put sexual favors on the table and start negotiating

In the beginning, every serious romantic entanglement is an electric, superconducting, steamy, fleshy hump festival. New sex partner = new sex, and new sex = lots of sex. That's sex math. You're in the kitchen making pasta sauce—bam!—you're having sex on the floor.
You're parking the car in the garage—bam—you're having sex in the car. But inevitably, invariably, it wears off. Soon all your conversations, once so filled with erotic promise, are about bills and barfy kids and how that swollen knee makes your leg look like Jackie Gleason's.

The Lost Is Found

There are moments in time that invade our everyday lives—circumstances in which the paths of strangers cross as part of a God-designed plan. The end result causes us to stand in awe knowing that He is and He delights even in the small details of our lives.
My husband, Mark, and I had traveled many hours on I-10 across the Florida panhandle on our way to Baton Rouge, La. After a quick pit stop and fresh lipstick, my legs were ready to hit the trail around the rest area. Mark was still in the restroom with the keys to Bella (our Mini-Cooper), so I wedged my small black zippered make-up bag between the locked car’s side mirror and window.
When we later re-entered the highway with increased speed, the little bag flew from its perch, and I knew right away I had forgotten to retrieve it. “It’s OK, Mark.” I quickly directed, “No need to go back. The bag is old and lipsticks are easy to replace. Let’s not take the time.”
How many times have we faced a horrifying moment when reality hits? So it was as we stopped for lunch and I reached into my purse for my wedding ring—the wedding ring I had slipped into the make-up bag the night before for safekeeping.
Oh, no! I couldn’t believe this was really happening. But in the midst of regret and self-condemnation, the Lord brought comfort, strength and even—surprisingly—the words of a song that brought my focus back to Him. “Lord, You are more precious than silver. Lord, you are more costly than gold. Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds. And nothing I desire compares with You!”
